About Lydia Thompson
I am a detail-oriented manager of photography with over a decade of experience as a photo editor, producer and photographer. I specialize in photo production for film and television promotion, with a proven knowledge of marketing and communications strategy. I have a B.A. in photojournalism and a second major in archaeology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.My work and collaborations have been recognized by CPOY, Hearst Journalism Awards, The Webby Awards, South by Southwest and Horizon Interactive Awards. In 2018 I received funding from National Geographic to complete photogrammetry of the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. I also received grant funding to complete archaeological site photography in East Crete.
