ABOUT LYDIA STOTT

I am the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist at Cooper Parry in the People Team. I’ve built my current role at CP from the ground up, originally volunteering time with the D&I committee while training as an accountant. In this role, I’ve developed and delivered on our DE & I Strategy; managed key stakeholder relationships; collected and analysed key metrics and data; supported disabled employees; and led company-wide training and awareness campaigns. I am also a freelance Neuroinclusion Advocate. I am proudly autistic and have a specific passion for neurodiversity and disability inclusion in the workplace. It is my greatest pride to support people to realise their own neurodivergency, obtain diagnoses, and explore strategies for thriving in a neurotypical world. I have been a Young Ambassador for the National Autistic Society, and have contributed to many media resources (including podcasts, books and reports) on neurodiversity in the workplace. I currently work with UK Parliament as an Autistic Champion. I love supporting workplaces to enable their neurodivergent talent!
