ABOUT LYDIA SHEWCHUK
Just a \'small-town\' girl, originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, which provided a strong Ukrainian cultural background. Enjoy some images of my craft, the Ukrainian Easter Eggs - Pysanky. My degree in Physical Therapy was completed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan followed by a move to Calgary, Alberta to work and enjoy all that the Rocky Mountains had to offer! And they offered a LOT- nothing beats the Canadian Rockies. I was fortunate to serve a very rewarding career as a PT in a Trauma Critical Care Unit for nearly 25 years. The move to Massachusetts was a big change. I worked as a Receptionist/office manager at Excel PT in Sterling, MA, was a Board member of a Regional Recycling center/ Assistant Volunteer Coordinator at the Recycle Center, as well as a volunteer for a Fund-raising club which provided scholarships to local students. If you can believe it, my husband and I abandoned enjoying life on a lakefront in small town Massachusetts, where I was crafting, gardening, employed part time, volunteering, networking, and actively researching a future in Real Estate Investment. Sounds like a dream, right! Well it was! But winter started to wear on us so we moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico for warmer weather with less humidity and more sun! Our cycling season has just doubled. In Albuquerque, I became a Realtor and am now enjoying the activities of residential real estate. 2018 was particularly successful and Red Fox Realty awarded me as their Top Selling Broker as well as Most Influential in the company. Each year since 2017 my production has been rewarded with Top Producer status in the Region as well as Red Fox Realty\'s Salesperson of the Year in 2019. The summer of 2022 involved moving my Real Estate License back to Realty One of NM where I continue to learn and grow. I joined the Grievance Committee at our local Realtor Association to assist with Ethics complaints. It was also a great honor to be invited to New Mexico Select for 2023, the local Luxury Specialists group.
