ABOUT LYDIA COY
Hello! I am a first-year student at Wellesley College with academic interests at the intersection of Environmental Justice and Public Health. I am particularly drawn to to understanding how social systems, behavior, and policy shape health and environmental outcomes, and I am eager to explore interdisciplinary approaches to addressing complex challenges. Through my coursework and extracurricular involvement, I have developed a strong interest in climate advocacy and environmental policy, especially in the context of equity, institutional decision-making, and community engagement. I am currently seeking opportunities to gain exposure to NGOs or nonprofit organizations working in climate advocacy, environmental policy, or related fields, where I can contribute meaningfully while continuing to learn from experienced professionals.I value thoughtful collaboration, clear communication, and research-driven approaches to social impact, and I am especially interested in roles that allow me to connect academic inquiry with practical policy or advocacy work.
