ABOUT LAUREN WILSTEIN

I’m an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with deep experience in critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, and inpatient medicine across top institutions in Los Angeles. I’ve worked in hospitalist/intensivist roles in multiple community hospitals, served as a first assist in CT surgery at the country’s leading heart-lung transplant center, and spent several years in surgical/trauma/transplant critical care at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA Health. I also work in the post-acute care setting in PM & R medicine, helping patients recover back to their prior state of health. I’m also passionate about mentoring the next generation of NPs — as a guest lecturer at the UCLA School of Nursing and a clinical preceptor for students from UCLA, Cal State LA, and other local and online NP programs.I hold a Master of Science in Nursing and post-master’s ACNP certification from UCLA, and I’m board certified by the ANCC.
