Laura Howell currently serves as the Director of Donor Engagement at the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, where she is responsible for executing the Foundation’s donor engagement strategies to ensure donors’ philanthropic objectives are met, their knowledge of the community is broadened, and their relationship with the CFGC is strong.Previously, Howell served as the Executive Director of the Bologna Performing Arts Center at Delta State University, overseeing all aspects of development, programming, and community engagement.Following her two-year commitment teaching as a Teach For America - Mississippi Delta corps member, Howell received her Masters in Elementary Education and Doctorate in Professional Studies with a focus in Higher Education. She is currently an adjunct instructor in Delta State University\'s College of Education, Arts and Humanities in the School of Leadership, Research, and Psychology.A proven leader in the arts, education, and nonprofits, Howell is known for creative thinking, strong public speaking and writing skills, and collaborative approaches to problem-solving. She has served on various boards and committees supporting the arts, education, economic development, and tourism.
