Interned at a long/short equity hedge fund and a commodity trading firm. Passionate about global macro trading, actively trading my personal account and following rates, FX, equities, and cross-asset dynamics through sell-side research subscriptions from McGill (My favorite ones are from Morgan Stanley Fixed Income and Deutsche Bank). I also actively track my equity holdings through sell-side research, Substack and X(Twitter).Current Portfolio Holdings:Long book includes mostly AI data center buildout beneficiaries - photonics, netwoking, memory, storage, etc.Short includes mostly non-growing consumer discretionary companies (Some notable recent shorts include Lululemon, Polaris Inc, Ferrari, Nike, Trade Desk, some Canadian telecoms and software).Occational G10 FX, STIR, sovereign bond futures speculating and relative value trades. Hedging Strategies: Mostly using equity index derivatives to actively manage my portfolio\'s beta-weighted delta dollars. I coded a (Python) options pricing tool to help me optimize option strategy selection based on my views on near-term potential downside risk and short-term volatility spikes, which I plan to share on GitHub.
