About Lu Yang
I am a scientist at Moderna, where my specialty lies in early-stage development of novel techniques to improve gene synthesis productivity by actively exploring and optimizing new techniques. In addition to fundamental development, I also focus on implementing these techniques at the production level through tech transfer from Development to Operation. Before joining Moderna, I pursued my PhD in University of Florida, where I developed targetable DNA probes and smart drug delivery systems through the conjugation and nano assembly of therapeutic DNA (aptamer and CpG) and stimuli-responsive polymer materials.
