ABOUT LUSIN YENGIBARYAN
I am a 2024 graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology and a minor in Global Health. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 4 years of work experience. I had the privilege of working at the UCLA Santa Monica hospital Emergency Department as a medical scribe, where I learned valuable professional and clinical skills such as Electronic Medical Records, customer service, and patient interaction skills. I have acquired the valuable skills of working on my feet in stressful situations at my position in the emergency department at Santa Monica Hospital as a medical scribe. I have learned much from my time working hands-on in a NICU nurse role at Slavmed Medical Center in Yerevan, Armenia during the summer of 2021, where I assisted in newborn examinations, feedings, nursing, and more. Additionally, I have acquired many valuable skills regarding patient interaction during my current and previous volunteering positions at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Glendale Adventist Medical Center. I am also developing my data analysis and clinical research skills as a current research assistant at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. In both my academic and professional life, I have been consistently praised as detail-oriented by my professors and peers. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven leadership, multitasking, and research skills, which have always helped me succeed.
