As an EFL instructor, my responsibilities include weekly lesson planning, three hundred minutes of in-class instruction, planning of weekly staff training, and coordinating with other teaching staff to meet the needs of students according to their levels. I was the second instructor to join the new English department in the Technical Vocational Training Corporation of Najran, Saudi Arabia, an opportunity that has enabled me to help build the foundations of an EFL program that will continue to operate for many years to come. Other responsibilities include: Planning and delivering English lessons to multi-level students. Teaching with advanced technology. Assessing student learning and progress. Monitoring attendance and keeping up to date records and paperwork. Leading weekly staff meetings and training events. Using the communicative approach of language acquisition. Providing individual assessments to students.
