I’m a planner. I enjoy connecting problem-solving ideas with on-the-ground solutions. In a career which began in local government and later in a private firm; I have since brought my analytical and understanding of non-traditional solutions to serve public and private clients. I maintain that integrating environmental and economic policies with business strategies requires genuine advocacy for economic progress and environmental stewardship. My commitment to sustainable development practices has equipped me to promote economic growth, community involvement, and the expansion of relationships. I have a strong background in managing and completing complex planning projects, including performing regular updates to an agency’s planning documents with outstanding results. These experiences have offered me the opportunity to receive state, regional and national awards. As a Certified Charrette Planner I engage stakeholders and facilitate effective public participation. Through education, technical assistance and a network of experienced practitioners, I advance policy reforms, share knowledge of effective strategies and raise awareness about the interdisciplinary nature of issues. My passion is planning – the ideas and efforts that impact communities such as energy, resilience, aging, access, connectivity and economic prosperity - together create the components of a healthy community.
