Education is my passion. This is my 17th year in education that started back with Teach For America in 2009. I continue to work at the school where I began my career. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade where I then transitioned into the position of Dean of Instruction then Assistant Principal. I supported teachers with their unit planning and instructional teaching and training to provide educational opportunities to all learners especially our multilingual learners. Now as Principal, I can help deepen the passion for educating young students through the development of new teachers and building a supportive school culture and community through collective efficacy.
