In February 2025, Lula Mohanty has been announced as Managing Partner MEA, IBM Consulting. She previously served as the Global Managing Partner, for Strategic Sales in IBM Consulting. In this role, she was responsible for driving large strategic transformational pursuits with enterprises across multiple industries globally. Previously, Lula was Managing Partner, IBM Consulting Asia Pacific, and China (APAC), where she was responsible for strategy, execution, delivering client value, and business performance of IBM’s consulting, digital agency, business transformation and cloud transformation business. She also oversaw IBM’s ecosystem and partnership agenda. In her more than 25 years at IBM, Lula has undertaken a number of regional and international assignments, leading cross-cultural teams and working with clients around the globe from India and China to the US and Europe. These roles included overseeing end-to-end accountability to manage Strategy, Offerings, Sales, Delivery, Talent and P&L management for global teams as large as people. Lula has been instrumental in driving digital transformation across large enterprise programs; managed IBM’s markets and delivery centres, including setting up and running the services delivery centre in the Philippines and ran one of the largest delivery centres in IBM, in India; and accelerated the development of new offerings and talent programmes. Lula is a member of the IBM Chairman’s acceleration and performance team which is responsible for IBM’s strategy, growth, and transformation which represents IBM\'s top class Global General Managers. She is an IBM Industry Diamond for Banking and is the executive champion of the IBM Consulting APAC Diversity Council where she is hands-on in driving initiatives that raise awareness and advocacy of inclusion of all kinds, especially gender diversity. Lula is a much sought out mentor in the Industry, both within IBM and in the field at large, and is renowned as a thought leader in enabling digital transformation.
