   Tasked with the end-to-end development and implementation of the next generation of the Point of Sale Fraud Model for Amex\'s proprietary cards. The process included selecting the most optimal development and validation time period, cleaning data, feature selection, building the model on AWS cloud, documentation, and working with various stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of the model. The model lead to a fraud capture of $12 Mn annually over the existing models. Additionally worked on identifying segments responsible for major fraud losses and implementing data science solutions for these.Responsibilities Included -* Development of the next generation of the Point of Sale Fraud Model for Amex\'s proprietary cards.* Working closely with Product, Technology, Validation, Governance and Strategy teams to ensure smooth implementation of the model.* Identifying segments responsible for major fraud losses and implementing data science solutions.* Leading team case review sessions to discuss limitations of our models and look at opportunities for improvement.* Mentoring new team members and conducting training sessions.
