About Luke Schmidt
I am currently a Senior at Baylor University pursuing a degree in Finance and Management Information Systems. I am from Atlanta, Georgia where I have lived my whole life. In High School I started my own business doing pressure washing. Going door-to-door trying to get clients allowed me to grow many skills. I also worked at a golf shop where I was able to work in their store with customers while also cleaning the golf range during my shifts. During the summer of 2024, I was able to land a internship at Northwestern Mutual. Interning at this company has taught me the ins and outs of the financial planning industry. I have learned skills like prospecting, working with clients, and building financial plans tailored to each individual. During my time at Baylor, I am on the Dean’s list and part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I have developed skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Some things I enjoy are Atlanta sports, fishing, pickle ball, golf and fantasy football.
