As a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM), I have a strong foundation in strategic leadership, underpinned by my academic achievements, including a Level 7 in Strategic Management and Leadership, and a Foundation Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Outside of my professional life, I’m a passionate rugby and Formula 1 fan and an avid fisherman, enjoying the balance between a demanding career and outdoor pursuits.With over 20 years of engineering experience across multiple sectors, I’ve had the privilege to lead high-performing teams in both military and civilian industries. I began my career in the Royal Navy, specializing in avionics and mechanical systems, including RADAR, SONAR, and communication systems. I later transitioned into roles at Thales UK, providing technical support for UAVs and ensuring continuing airworthiness. Currently, I serve as an Engineering Manager in the healthcare sector, where I lead cross-functional teams in AI/ML, data, and software engineering projects, focusing on delivering scalable solutions that improve patient care within the NHS.My future goals include further advancing my leadership in technology-driven sectors, continuing to work on projects that make a tangible difference, particularly in healthcare, aviation and the space sector.
