ABOUT LUKE NOVELLA
I am currently working full time for O\'Reilly, where I\'ve been for 8+ years. I\'m a member of our marketing team. My role is basically Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, although my official title is Associate Marketing Automation Administrator. I help manage automated emails for our clients. I am currently learning advanced SQL and Pardot. Every other Sunday morning you can find me volunteering to help film and edit podcasts for Calvary Chapel Petaluma. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University. I majored in cinema with an emphasis in screenwriting. I also have an Associate of Arts degree with a major in Spanish from the Santa Rosa Junior College. My camera operation experience includes filming in 4k with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema, crop sensored DSLR HD using a Canon 70D, analogue DVR, and on actual film using 35mm, 16mm, and 8mm cameras. I have experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and with DaVinci Resolve. I have some knowledge of After Effects and am working on growing my skills with this software. I\'ve worked as a gaffer for locally produced online content and advertisements, and I have experience filming and editing footage for weddings and other live events. I’ve put in over 300 hours volunteering for Habitat for Humanity (at the Restore and building homes). I’ve also volunteered for the Justin Cahill Special Needs Prom, SF Food Bank, Salvation Army, Bowling for Kid’s Sake, donating blood, yard work for the elderly, and on mission trips. Here is a glimpse at some of O’Reilly’s online learning content that’s helped me grow personally and professionally- People Love You: The Real Secret to Delivering Legendary Customer Experiences by Jeb Blount - Adobe After Effects CC for Beginners: Learn After Effects CC by Life Progression Project Here are some of the great things managers have said about me in past performance reviews:\"Luke\'s upbeat manor has enhanced the positivity in the Dept. His good natured competitions with other team members has brightened days and encouraged success.\"\"Luke has met or exceeded all of his cross sell goals, setting an awesome example of success for the team.\" When I worked at RCU, I was recognized as one of RCU\'s top ten performers company wide, twice! This is the same type of performance I bring everywhere I serve.
