I lead data strategy across a global technology company operating in the energy and industrial sectors, working closely with directors in Finance, Sales, and Operations.Key things I have done here:• Led the data and reporting workstream of a full migration to Dynamics 365, delivering an entirely new suite of dashboards on time and to spec.• Designed and built the Power BI KPI dashboard suite used for board and private equity reporting. These are now the primary reporting layer across the business.• Built a PowerApps application to track hazardous chemicals across sites, replacing a proposed off-the-shelf purchase and saving money in licencing costs.• Grew out the data team and outlined how the team will function.

I got into data because I enjoy solving problems and helping businesses make better decisions. Over the past seven years, I have progressed from a graduate analyst in local government to leading data strategy in industry, and the constant throughout has been this: I focus on understanding what a business really needs, not just answering the question it first asks. My background is in building practical, high-impact solutions using the Microsoft stack, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and Dynamics 365. I have delivered everything from infection-rate dashboards for a county council command centre to a hazardous chemicals tracking app that reduced significant licensing costs, always with a focus on making data more useful, accessible and actionable. I am currently Data Lead at Tracerco, where I lead data strategy across the business, present to board and private equity stakeholders, and am building a data function from the ground up. Alongside full-time work, I am also studying for an MSc in Digital and Technology Solutions (Data Analytics), reflecting my belief that strong data leaders should always keep learning.
