As a Business Intelligence Analyst for the Development Services department, my goal is to enable evidence-based decision making to maximize quality and efficiency of service delivery for residents. I build dashboards, reports, automations, data models, and forecasts to give operational insight from the field to the managerial level. I regularly meet with and train staff to better understand their operational process and needs, and to empower them to make the most of the data they have. I work with our process improvement team to implement and track changing workflows and automations, to both create better data output and to track changes to keep my data models up to date.

ABOUT LUKE KUBEHL
I’m a Business Intelligence Analyst at the City of McKinney, beginning my career in city administration and data science. In May 2025 I earned a Masters in Public Affairs and a Masters in Information Science from Indiana University. While pursuing my degrees I work as a Research Assistant on the Indiana Nonprofit Project as well as a Teaching Assistant for two undergraduate statistical analysis classes. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Public Affairs at Indiana University’s O’Neill School in May of 2023 and I look forward to continuing and broadening my education to enter the workforce with the tools I need to succeed and make my impact. I have participated in student government during my time as an undergraduate and worked in local government, construction and landscaping, as well as food service. I also ran my own division of a 501(c)3 nonprofit in high school for two years (Plus One at The Storehouse Saint Andrew). I have made serving my community a key part of my life and routine, from volunteering at homeless shelters and childcare facilities, to helping with mutual aid projects in my free time outside of work and school. I\'m looking forward to continuing my personal and professional development to build the skills to better serve my community and work towards a better world.
