ABOUT LUKE SOLOMON
I’m a first-year Pre-Business major at the Kelley School of Business who is driven by a Resilient mindset shaped by sports, academics, and personal experience. Growing up in Wilmette, Illinois, with difficult life challenges taught me to be Adaptable and committed to persevering through challenges. Balancing school, athletics, and responsibilities at home helped me develop a Disciplined approach to my goals and a strong work ethic that continues to guide me.My background in high school football and basketball played a major role in forming my identity. Facing injuries, position changes, and setbacks required me to stay Resilient, consistent, and focused. These experiences strengthened my ability to stay Disciplined, keep a long-term perspective, and trust the process. Working through adversity also helped me develop an Adaptable problem-solving mindset that I bring to my academic and professional work.At Indiana University, I’m building on these foundations through coursework in finance and involvement in student organizations. I plan to pursue a career as a sports agent, where I can use my Resilient approach, Adaptable thinking, and Disciplined work ethic to help athletes make strong decisions and maximize their career opportunities.Interests: Finance, Sports Agency, Financial Analysis, Data Analytics, Business Strategy, Leadership Development, and Professional Growth
