As a Professional Sales Intern at GreatAmerica Financial Services, I am immersed in a dynamic learning environment that bridges both finance and sales. ABOUT LUKE GAFFNEY
I am currently a student athlete entering my fourth year at the University of Iowa, where I am pursuing a BBA in Finance and Risk Management & Insurance through the Tippie College of Business. Alongside my academic path, I balance the demands of collegiate athletics as a member of the football team. My past work experience includes roles as a team member at Hy-Vee, a landscaper, a member of the grounds crew at Finkbine Golf Course, and currently as a sales intern at GreatAmerica Financial Services. These positions have provided me with the opportunity to work in diverse settings, collaborate with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, and sharpen my skills in customer service, leadership, sales, and finance. My dedication to both academics and athletics has been recognized through three Academic All Big 10 awards and leadership honors from the University of Iowa football program. I am motivated by growth, and I look forward to building on these experiences as I continue to develop both personally and professionally.
