Worked during the summer of 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, each year gaining more valuable engineering experience while also gaining more responsibilities each summer. During summer 2024, served as the design engineer on a Laser Assisted Cold Spray system, interfacing safety systems, an extraction arm, motor shrouds and cable shrouding as well as an adjustable cold spray and focusing optics mount for the end effector of a robot. Designed and tested all components, working directly with manufacturers for custom parts. Installed these components for a multi-million dollar system, the largest LACS system in the world.More recently, worked on a multi-discipline project in order to create a wireless feedback system for hand spray operations. Integrated wireless LED peripheral system status feedback, proximity detection and powder feed control. Spearheaded the design, wiring, software and initial prototyping for the entire system.
