Duties and Responsibilities:• Monitor and triage security alerts from numerous feeds, across the networks of multiple client companies, in the SOC of a busy MSSP.• Analyse logs in various SIEMs to search for indicators of compromise, potential threats and vulnerabilities.• Communicate with clients and respond to requests for security-related data and deeper investigations, generating and fulfilling service tickets.• Utilise a range of EDR and security management tools.• Collaborate with other teams in order to tune SIEM rules to reduce false positives and identify improvements to SOAR playbooks to increase efficiency. • Assist other teams to investigate and mitigate active security incidents, providing log analysis and evidence-gathering support.
