As a Mechanical Engineer on Apollo, Apptronik’s humanoid robot, I work on the design, development, and testing of the humanoid robot that aims to revolutionize the future of work and mobility. I apply my skills and knowledge in robotics, crash structure analysis, modeling, and product quality to create innovative and safe solutions that meet the high standards of Apptronik.I am also a Master of Science student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florida, where I pursue my passion for emerging technologies and expand my expertise in various engineering disciplines. Previously, I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, where I gained valuable experience as a team leader in the Formula SAE competition and as a Production and Tool Engineer at Boeing. I also owned an online retail business, where I developed my time management and problem-solving skills.Born and raised in South Africa, now a U.S. citizen, I bring a unique perspective to every challenge and opportunity. I am ambitious, committed, and motivated to work on projects that have a positive impact on the world. I am always eager to learn new skills and collaborate with diverse and talented teams.
