   Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) is a nonprofit financial institution, founded in 1976, whose mission is to accelerate community prosperity by financing and supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses.As Chief Financial Officer and a member of the CEF Executive Team, I lead the finance, accounting, treasury, compliance, and data analytics functions, and advise the CEO and COO on the organization\'s financial strategy and the optimization of its resources.At CEF, we believe every idea, however small, has the potential to be something bigger. Yet, not every person may have the same ability to set their ideas in motion. Colorado Enterprise Fund expands access to financing for entrepreneurs and small businesses beyond the boundaries of traditional lenders. We also help these businesses thrive via ongoing consulting support. Our loans vary in size from a few thousand dollars to $1 million, and we have assisted more than 2,900 Colorado small businesses and counting. We don’t just believe in the power of a diverse and growing small business sector in Colorado. We invest in it.
