Mange projects that include institutional infrastructure, site structures, utility systems, and high and medium-voltage infrastructure and equipment.• Provide technical, management and administrative expertise and consultant direction/oversight for assigned capital improvement projects during development, study, concept/schematic design, construction document development, procurement, construction, and close-out phases. • Project values typically range from $250K to greater than $3M.• Managing multiple projects running in parallel, sometimes with competing priorities.• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with project stakeholders.• Manage contracts, budgets, schedules, output quality and relationships with external design and consulting professionals, key suppliers, and construction subcontractors for assigned projects.• Report project status and issues/problems to management. Make recommendations to address any issues.• Develop scopes of work for complex architecture/engineering projects, based on user requirements.• Provide written statements of work for AE tasks to be performed by subcontract firms.• Perform detailed investigations of existing sites/buildings including availability of utilities, environmental and safety hazards, and impacts to occupants in or near the proposed project work area.• Working as a team leader, accountable for team results on multifunctional and/or multidisciplinary projects and assignments, including performance standards, budget and schedule.• Provide facilities project management with a focus on electrical engineering and construction projects.• Perform projects in accordance with applicable industry practices, California building/construction standards and codes as well as (ADA) requirements.• Perform projects in accordance with the CBC, NFPA70 and NEC.• Develop engineering and construction schedules, RFP packages, SOWs, estimates, budgets, spend plans and management of RFIs and Change Orders.
