ABOUT LUKE TURNER

I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor working for Arcadis as a Senior Cost Consultant.Prior to this, my previous professional role was working as Contract Manager for the Ossian (JV) Wind Farm. This short-term contract was primarily delivering the export cable Geophysical Survey package (pre-Contract)(Logic form), for this floating wind, development stage Construction project.For the 2.5 years prior to this, I worked as the SMA Contract Manager (WTG package) in the East Anglia Three Operational Readiness Team for Scottish Power Renewables. This role commenced in advance of formal Service & Maintenance Agreement (SMA) negotiations and carried through to contract signature.Prior to the above, I worked as Offshore Wind Procurement and Commercial (P&C) Manager (Operations) at SSE. Here I led the Commercial teams at both Greater Gabbard and Beatrice Windfarms, with responsibility for all major Commercial activities, Contract negotiations and subsequent management across SSE’s fleet of operational offshore wind assets, together with supporting future projects.Before making the move to working in the energy sector, I worked for 13 years as a Professional Quantity Surveyor.
