ABOUT LUKE LU
My research focus is on improving the tool-use/visual/spatial reasoning capabilities of VLMs/LLMs and building pixel-space Diffusion and VLMs for 3D World Models that truly understand the real world with accurate physics.I am a passionate AI engineer/applied physicist with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering co-advised at UIUC and MIT EECS with a highly interdisciplinary background by training, spanning AI/ML, physics and computational science. Going forward, my career focus is to apply large vision/language/multimodal neural networks to complex real-world problems, eventually developing sophisticated multimodal agents/humanoid robots tackling real-world challenges in semiconductor manufacturing/chip design/medical domains.Above all, a big fan of life-long learning and education for all.Find me at https://groccy.github.io/
