ABOUT LUKE PRETTYMAN

During my career I have gained an excellent & varied skillset from starting out in electronics to progressing offshore to operate the Survey equipment I once built. From there I took an interest in Geotechnical work, soon operating CPT & Vibrocores all over the world became my everyday life. This lead me to find a love for ROV work and with a perfectly timed job opportunity I moved into ROV, I started as a base technician on light work-class and eyeball vehicles, This gave me the knowledge to progress into work-class construction work where I stayed until the unfortunate down turn where I became a victim. I landed on my feet where I was employed to start an ROV tooling department, which was successful. Whilst I built up the tooling department I was also a survey engineer on & offshore. With my background in electronics and subsea cables I was also involved in the companies cable molding department manufacturing professional subsea cables. My next challenge came from joining the renewable sector, working my way up eventually team leading an electrical team manufacturing & installing the SGU components for the turbines. With the skillset and technical abilities I have gained from a strong career path I feel I make a good all round employee. Recently I have carried out supervisor roles onshore & offshore and carried out campaigns as Offshore manager.
