I have been working in the insurance industry since 2006. Out of college, I started as a property & casualty insurance specialist for State Farm select agent Bob Pitman. With over 50 years of experience as a leading agent I learned from one of the best, focusing on growing the auto and homeowner books of business within the agency. In 2009 I had the opportunity to work at a new State Farm agency in Louisville. After attaining my life and health license, I focused on all lines of insurance. My goal was to put together a comprehensive insurance package for all of my clients. I learned what it took to start a new agency, as we had to grow and meet goals very quickly.In 2012, I joined a local independent insurance agency and started the property & casualty and commercial books of business from scratch. In 5 plus years I was able to build a healthy book of business totaling nearly 2 million in annualized premium. I helped countless clients with their home, auto, small business, etc. In late 2017 I was able to achieve a lifelong dream as I started my own insurance agency, RLP Insurance. I provide personal and commercial lines of insurance, dealing with both the individual needing home and auto coverage and the business owner needing general liability and workers compensation coverage.
