About Luke Peters
Hello! I’m Luke Peters, a junior at San Diego State University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. My academic journey has equipped me with skills in mathematics, physics, and professional communication. Currently, I’m gaining hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, where I utilize SolidWorks to design and build testing fixtures, among other key responsibilities. This role has developed my practical skills in engineering design. In addition to my internship, I am a research assistant in the Advanced Materials Processing Lab, focusing on metallic foams. This experience has given me a foundation in materials science and it\'s applications. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I contribute to the SAE Baja Club and am involved in the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
