ABOUT LUKE MOXHAM
Completed my RICS accredited Building Surveying Degree with first honours 2021. From then on, I became a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors in 2022, and completed a Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management in 2023.I have attempted to become a Chartered Building Surveyor with RICS since Oct 2019, sitting two assessments, one in late 2024, and the recent one in 2025. I have since decided to withdraw myself from the APC process and am now focusing on achieving MCIOB. From then on, I will be developing my skills and knowledge into the health and environmental aspects of the built environment. My career aim is to study Building Biology and qualify as a certified Building Biologist with the Institute of Building Biology + Sustainability IBN. Combining my knowledge of construction and building pathology with my interest in health would be crucial in providing a wide variety of advice to property owners and occupiers.Daily tasks include, but are not limited to- project management- writing specifications- contract administration- take offs- report writing- schedule of conditions- defect analysis- party walls- measured surveys - leaseholder consent- defect inspections- design - AutoCAD & Revit drawing- tender preparation and review
