As Risk Management Chair, I was responsible for overseeing the safety, liability, and compliance practices of our fraternity in alignment with university and national guidelines. My role included- Coordinating risk assessments for all social, philanthropic, and brotherhood events- Implementing proactive strategies to ensure member safety and minimize liability- Serving as a liaison between the fraternity, university administration, and national organization regarding conduct policies- Leading educational initiatives on alcohol safety, hazing prevention, and mental health awareness- Ensuring emergency protocols and health/safety procedures were understood and followed by all membersThis role strengthened my leadership, crisis management, and organizational communication skills while reinforcing the importance of accountability and responsibility in a group setting.
