I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Mississippi State University, where I earned both a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Professional Accountancy. While attending the University, I was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and Accounting & Finance Student Society.Before pursuing my career in public accounting, I spent several years in the golf course industry, where I developed strong skills in customer service, sales, and marketing, while also serving in a leadership capacity by mentoring and training new employees. In addition, I was able to maintain a >+2.0 player ability golf handicap.Since transitioning into public accounting, I have gained hands-on experience in individual and business taxation as well as in auditing non-public entities. This blend of client-facing and technical expertise has allowed me to build a well-rounded professional foundation that I continue to grow each day.Currently, I serve as a Financial Analyst, where I focus on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven analysis to support strategic decision-making. In this role, I work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret financial performance, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights that drive efficiency and growth.I am actively pursuing my CPA licensure.
