About Luke Haston

I am a sophomore in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee majoring in Management with a Finance collateral and minors in Economics and Political Science. During my first two years of college, I have discovered a strong interest in work that brings together communication, organization, and direct interaction with others. My experience with Vector Marketing introduced me to a fast-paced professional environment where I completed intensive sales training, delivered more than fifty product demonstrations, and earned a President’s Club distinction for my fast-start sales performance. In addition, serving as Homecoming Chair for my fraternity strengthened my ability to coordinate events, manage budgets, and work across multiple teams to meet deadlines.As I continue through my sophomore year, I am focused on developing skills that support my long-term goal of working in the legal, or finance field. I am particularly interested in improving my research abilities, strengthening the structure and clarity of my writing, and gaining experience in professional communication. Coursework in economics, management, and political science has helped me build a foundation in critical thinking and evidence-based analysis, and I hope to apply these skills in future internships. I am committed to continuing my academic and professional growth as I work toward these goals.
