ABOUT LUKE GROSSMANN

As Chief Financial Officer of the United States Postal Service, I lead the financial and strategic efforts of an $80 billion organization with a workforce of employees—making USPS one of the nation’s largest employers.Reporting directly to the Postmaster General and Chief Executive Officer, I oversee finance, strategy, treasury, accounting, pricing and costing, and supply management functions. With a focus on operational excellence and financial sustainability, I am committed to ensuring USPS continues to adapt to an ever-evolving marketplace while fulfilling its mission to serve every community in America. During my 20-year tenure at USPS, I have witnessed our ability to adapt to industry changes while meeting evolving business and customer needs. My current focus is leveraging data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency and support the long-term goals outlined in our Delivering for America 10-year transformation plan. Prior to being appointed as CFO, I served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy. In this role, I led initiatives in financial planning, demand forecasting, and economic analysis and supported strategy development at both the management and board levels. Throughout my career, I have emphasized data-driven decision-making to drive growth and operational success. My expertise spans operations management, financial economics, analytics, and risk management—skills critical to shaping strategies that improve performance and ensure financial sustainability.
