I completed a two week work experience placement at Absolute Radio where I carried out a number of duties including:Research assistant - gathering together biographies and possible interview questions for Festival acts.Filming - Video recording John Terry at the Magistrates court during his trial, where the content was added on the website and different social media platforms.Editing - Using Adobe Audition to edit shows and links.Festivals - organising tickets and press badges for employees and guests going to the Hard Rock Calling Festival in Hyde Park.Competitions - calling competition winners and informing them of prizes and gathering information from them.Station Assistant - duties such as setting up meetings, delivering mail, tidying areas, recycling etc.

ABOUT LUKE GREGORY
For the last decade, I have been producing programming and content for the biggest commercial sports radio station in the UK – talkSPORT. Since 2019, I have led the multi-award winning flagship “White and Jordan” show with Jim White and Simon Jordan. In my time as producer, we have achieved industry recognition, awards and record RAJAR’s - including the highest ever figures for the mid morning slot in the station\'s history. I am a five time SJA award winning producer - with White and Jordan achieving numerous Gold and Silver recognitions by the Sports Journalism Association. The show has also won silvers at the ARIAS and TRIC awards.Alongside talkSPORT - I produced the “Up Front with Simon Jordan” podcast - which created national headlines, as well as being a consistently strong performer in the sports podcast charts on Apple and Spotify.I am a strong communicator and am not fazed when dealing with talent. I thrive working across big stories and enjoy the rush and pressure of reacting to breaking news. I have extensive experience within galleries, both in studio and on location, producing content at major sporting events including the Euros, World Cups, boxing and Rugby.
