As a Senior Scientist at Lumileds, I applied my Ph.D. in Materials Science and my expertise in optoelectronics to develop innovative solutions for LED lighting and display applications. With over nine years of experience in the semiconductor industry, my expertise extends to the design and development of optoelectronic devices, comprehensive optical and electrothermal modeling, and leading cross-functional teams to drive performance improvements.In my role at Lumileds, I spearheaded critical projects such as enhancing the efficacy of high-density µLED arrays for automotive products, achieving efficiency improvements exceeding 2x, and leading the metalens project to attain broadband transmission of over 90%. My leadership in steering modeling teams for cutting-edge Flash products and my comprehensive involvement in the Luxeon MxN\'s evolution, from DBR design through system-level simulations, underscore my commitment to technical excellence and innovation.I am passionate about advancing the state-of-the-art in optical device technology, and have published numerous papers and patents in the fields of optoelectronics and materials science. I have led and contributed to multiple projects to enhance the performance, efficiency, and functionality of LED systems, and work in close collaboration with other researchers and engineers to solve challenging problems and create value for our customers.
