During my time as an A&R Intern at Manic Kat Records, I worked across the full artist discovery pipeline — evaluating 30+ demo submissions per week, compiling streaming trend reports across Spotify and Apple Music, and helping identify prospective artists for label consideration. I worked closely with label management to coordinate communication between artists, producers, and the wider team, keeping studio sessions and project timelines on track across multiple active rosters. This role gave me a ground-level understanding of what it takes to spot and develop emerging talent in today\'s streaming landscape — and a genuine passion for the A&R process.
