ABOUT LUKE GARRITY

Luke attended Boston College High School for two years where he won a Division 1A Super 8 hockey state championship in 2018. The following year, he repeated his Junior Year at St. Sebastian’s, a school that ultimately grew his faith and love for learning. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020 as a NHS member (top 10 in his class), a National Latin Club member, St. Lawrence Book Award Member, Dartmouth Book Award Member and a decorated student athlete earning all academia and all state recognition. During the year following graduation, he planned to play junior hockey in the NAHL for the Springfield Jr, Blues in Illinois. However, COVID-19 postponed his junior season. During this time, Luke found a new purpose with music, which ultimately led him and away from pursuing a division 1 hockey career. He was then accepted to Northeastern University early decision. However, this new passion in music ultimately took Luke away from school as he went on to spend the next two years pursuing his dream as an artist, touring the country as a DJ, and earning his stripes in the music industry. He played over 200 shows in over 25 states, opened for names like Dillon Francis, Twin Sick, Good Times Ahead, Vinny Vibe, Sean Kingston, Wacka Flocka, Deerock and more, and helped orchestrate a community of young producers and DJ’s like himself who were navigating the cut throat industry. Upon returning to school, Luke decided to combine his passion for learning with his passion for music as a combined Electrical Engineering and Music Technology major. For Luke, the last couple of years in the music industry was a pivotal moment that prepared him for this next chapter of his life. In July of 2025, he joined N-1, a music trio with Phineas Schultz and Dominic Jared, allowing him to express his music under a new brand name. Luke also offers mixing and mastering services, and continues to give back to his network of young producer and DJ mentees, while also ghost producing and songwriting for big artists across the globe. As of today, Luke works at a recently merged MEP Engineering Consulting Firm called Rimkus in the Seaport of Boston, while also balancing academics as he enters his last year at Northeastern.
