ABOUT LUKE DEMETRE

Luke is a strong, confident leader, yet shows great compassion for each member of his team. He is determined, approachable, and constantly adapting and embracing change. His ability to learn quickly with unrelenting enthusiasm allows him to be a catalyst for new ideas, while his caring attitude helps develop individuals, teams and positive dynamics. Luke has leveraged his commitment, dedication, and experience as an Olympian in sport, school and work. He uses his skills and experience as a public speaker to convey his passion for inspiring youth. His work ethic started at an early age having his first job by 12, starting a small business by 13, all while being a top performer in school and athletics. Luke demonstrated the transferable skills of goal setting, determination and time management, leaving Canada’s National Bobsleigh Team, to complete his Honours Bachelor’s degree at a furious pace. He has lead teams in international competitions and in his volunteer and work experience. Luke is focused on a career where he can leverage and hone his skills, using his drive and passion to help companies flourish. His tenacity, calculated risk-taking and creativity are well suited for a company focused on growth and innovation.
