ABOUT LUKE BERNARD
I pride myself on being a hardworking and dedicated individual who always tries to look on the bright side. My goal is to one day own and operate my own business by capitalizing on these qualities. My interest in the business world was piqued in high school when I started an asphalt sealing company, Blackrock Sealcoating, to find work in the summer. Over the course of four years, I worked as the head of finances for the business, in which I managed all income and expenses, made monthly income statements and balance sheets, and generated annual general ledgers. In addition to managing the company\'s finances, I served as a lead sales associate and worked on the job site laying seal. This experience has helped me grow as a hard worker and problem solver and has given me many universal skills that will help me in the professional world.I am currently a student at the University of Michigan\'s Ross School of Business with a focus in strategy.
