Early on I was involved with estimating, introducing some new systems & sinking my teeth into a large project for the region being a new research facility at port nelson. This project has been completed in line with all expectations. Following on from that I have been involved in several other commercial and industrial projects across Nelson and Marlborough acting in a dual project management and quantity surveying role. One of the lead projects I was involved in was the Ocean View Apartments design and build project in Tahunanui which again was a dual project management and quantity surveying role for this major project for the region. In coordination with the completion of the Ocean View Apartments some high end fit outs at the project were completed. I then moved forward working with the same developer on an upcoming apartment building at 71 Haven Road of which the civil works have been completed & the podium structure well underway. This is another exciting project involving a superstructure predominantly constructed out of CLT.
