I manage an agile team that is responsible for growing sales of Rehlko (Kohler Power Systems products - gensets, automatic transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, packaging solutions etc.) to Local, State and Federal agencies through either our distributor channel or directly while leading and growing a strong team.Lead large sales opportunities either directly and/or through Rehlko (Kohler) distribution, including prospecting and network development, with a primary focus on federal and state agency purchases.Lead, coach and mentor a diverse team of associates to support in the success of the Rehlko (Kohler Energy) government sales channel.Responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for of a project, across value chain players (end-user, engineer, procurement, contractor, distributor), for the State and Federal segment. Develop “pull through” marketing approaches to drive qualified leads into prospecting efforts and successfully close on qualified leads.Establish long-term working relationships with key partners by being a trusted advisor and an integral part of their success. Assist partner efforts in creating their own state and federal sales projects.Knowledgeable in industrial power products (generators, ATS, paralleling switchgear, custom enclosures etc.), pertinent codes and standards (NEC, UL, IBC, etc.) and overall on-site power system design and integration.Oversee the preparation and negotiation of quotations for projects from targeted accounts. Ensuring all teams and partners provide supporting documents to customer requirements. Leading pre-quote project meetings and reviews.
