ABOUT LUIZA VARGAS

Hello! I\'m Luiza, originally from Brazil, but I\'ve called Vancouver home for the past seven years. With an MBA from UBC Sauder School of Business and a background in operations, business development, and leadership, I’ve built my career around creating structure, driving growth, and delivering meaningful results.I currently wear two hats: I\'m a Project Manager at CDL-Vancouver, where I support cutting-edge ventures in the innovation space; and I\'m also the co-founder and CEO of Elkwood Pro Maintenance, a snow removal and landscaping company I launched to bring reliable, detail-driven service to residential and commercial clients in the Lower Mainland.Entrepreneurship in snow might not have been a predictable path for someone raised in the tropics. Still, I’ve grown to love the challenge of managing seasonal services and leading teams in high-stakes, weather-driven environments.My experience spans startups, corporate environments, and entrepreneurial ventures, always with a focus on operations and people.Let’s connect.
