As the Consumer Lending Manager I manage both the consumer and mortgage administrative departments of the Credit Union. I\'m responsible for underwriting, closing, filing, safekeeping, and servicing of the Credit Union\'s entire loan portfolio. This position leads the development of and implementation of best practices in loan processes and procedures. Support the front and back-office lending teams with daily operations and establish positive working relationships with credit union departments and partners.Establish and accomplish departmental performance goals within defined timelines.Define and implement a measurement of acceptable staff performance to safeguard the Credit Union\'s loan portfolio.Ensure all loan documents, lending policies, and practices conform to internal, external regulatory, and statutory compliance requirements through daily auditing and review of closed loans.Responsible for the daily operation of the Credit Card, Gift Card, Collateral Protection Insurance, GAP, Mechanical Breakdown, and Payment Protection (insurance) Programs.Responsible for vehicle loan titles and registrations, and mortgage recordings and satisfactions.Oversee daily reports, account maintenance, card orders, over-limits, delinquency, fraud monitoring and account management for the credit card department.Manages performance of loan products and prepare loan reports for Senior Leadership and CEO.
