ABOUT LUIS PEREZ SANCHEZ

Well I would like to define myself as CODE blooded person;). Now seriously, I was hooked by an old Sony MSX when I was little and since then Programming became my passion. Through my choice in studies (PhD. in Computer Science) and the projects I have worked on (see details below), I have developed a good ability on absorbing new technologies and I have built a knowledge base that allows me to understand what can be applied to solve a certain problem or improve, when possible, an existing solution. I work fast but never overseeing the quality of what is done, keeping always in mind that what you do is not just for you. The focus must be both on the problem you are solving and on the other people that may have to improve or modify what you have done. So, a clean, tested, efficient, reusable and scalable code is imperative in my way of working.I have had the opportunity to work on new projects of different sizes and importance, from their birth. This has allowed me to participate in the analysis and in the design phases.I can easily adapt to different environments, as I have gathered work experience abroad and in multicultural scenarios (University of Havana, University of Pisa, EFSA).I have acquired good communication skills through extensive exchanges with the research community (during the PhD), my teaching experience and the interaction with several kinds of clients in my industrial experience.
