Led a team of Quality Verification Engineers (QVEs) and testers during the construction of the Scarborough subway extension- QA/QC on piling works and anchorage activities for the Launch Shaft. Tunneling is executed by following the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) methodology and installing Precast Concrete Tunnel Linning (PCTL) segments. In addition, a quality inspection was conducted for asphalt concrete placement, wet utilities relocation and installation- Prepared Monthly Quality Management System (QMS) reports, Inspection Testing Plans (ITPs), quality metrics, engineering reports for concrete and piling investigation, and participation in Internal / External Audits- Conducted non-destructive investigations on concrete structures such as the Schmidt Hammer test. Also, prepared a high-level report of laboratory results (Flexural Residual Strength, Double Punch test, Rapid Chloride Permeability (RCP) test, Linear Shrinkage test, Air Void System Analysis, among other tests) for fiber-reinforced concrete used in tunnel permanent lining.
