ABOUT FELIPE CAICEDO

I love to interact with my customers, dig into their problems and solve them in innovative ways. I found this one of the most rewarding experiences for which I give my total devotion in order to accomplish it. To get the best out of each situation I focus on key results, the ability to change and adapt to new insights, and the ability to get the best out of my team work.I have enjoyed all the positions in my professional career, which by the way have always been in the Software Industry despite the fact that my BS is in Electronic Engineering. I have liked some positions more than others of course, but in the end all of them have nurtured me and helped me grow to the professional I am today. Due to the nature of my bachelor, and the experience I had in hand I decided to pursue my MSc in Management Engineering which have taught me a lot from the managerial world which was a world a little bit alien to me, specially coming from such technical professional/education background. Probably because of that, my specialization within the Master was Design Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship comes as a big surprise. It seems like a big mix, I know, but looking at it from a wide perspective, it has given me a whole new set of tools in order to deal with the constant changes of our world today.I have a strong experience in the Software Industry mainly focused to cover the needs of the Retail Industry through business analysis, design and definition of requirements, implementation and configuration, and at some extend support and maintenance. Mostly involved in the management of operational/business processes of companies through software platforms that support their business cycle, ensuring the reliability of their critical processes and results.My strength points include quickly learning new skills and adapt to changing environments, problem solving, responsive design principles, effective communicator, achievement orientation and attitude of service. Being practical, and talking about some software skills, I have revolved my experience around Microsoft SQL for the last years, understanding how this vast world works and exploring new ways to deliver to my customers what they need, in the way they need it, when they need it. In top of that technical experience, I have recently become a SAFe 5 Practitioner which have widened my view of the world and helps me squeeze the best out of the best practices of the industry.
