Einstein INSPIRATION Born in Arequipa, Peru, I immigrated to the US in 1979 to pursue my education in technology. I worked full time while attending multiple universities. Eventually, I graduated from UCSD with degrees in Computer Science (Applied Mathematics) and Electrical Engineering (Applied Physics). It gave me an incredible foundation to do what I love. For decades, I have been designing, developing, and manufacturing Laser-based Medical Devices.With a plethora of industry expertise, currently, I am working on laser-tissue transmission studies and FEM modeling, and on clinical trials of tPBM for Major Depressive Disorders, Parkinson\'s\' and Alzheimer’s Diseases. I have a proven ability to assess technology implications, analytics, and market insights for strengthening the centralized governance segment, setting guidelines, and making strategic decisions. I learned from my mentor—who led by example and worked hard, with incredible discipline, always willing to help, and always wearing a smile.Married for thirty-two years, we have three sons in their twenties. They are our source of pride and inspiration. I enjoy staying active, doing short-distance triathlons and traveling to new out-of-the-way places. I have been all over the world, but I enjoy it most when I have my family with me.
